Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Mediaset (MI:MS), which rose 1.92% or 0.060 points to trade at 3.188 at the close. Meanwhile, Salvatore Ferragamo (MI:SFER) added 1.87% or 0.42 points to end at 22.92 and Telecom Italia (MI:TLIT) was up 1.65% or 0.0125 points to 0.7710 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bper Banca SpA (MI:EMII), which fell 2.18% or 0.098 points to trade at 4.394 at the close. Banco Bpm (MI:BAMI) declined 1.37% or 0.042 points to end at 3.034 and Exor NV (MI:EXOR) was down 1.00% or 0.55 points to 54.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 193 to 167 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.74% or 0.88 to $51.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.78% or 1.00 to hit $57.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.96 to trade at $1303.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.1843, while EUR/GBP fell 0.22% to 0.8900.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.81.
