Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Utilities, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 2.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (MI:FCHA), which rose 8.36% or 1.300 points to trade at 16.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Exor NV (MI:EXOR) added 6.86% or 3.55 points to end at 55.30 and Unione di Banche Italiane SpA (MI:UBI) was up 4.97% or 0.1800 points to 3.8040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Davide Campari Milano SpA (MI:CPRI), which fell 0.63% or 0.04 points to trade at 6.26 at the close. Luxottica Group (MI:LUX) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 50.80 and Poste Italiane SpA (MI:PST) was up 0.31% or 0.020 points to 6.375.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 269 to 103 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.45% or 0.28 to $61.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $67.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.90 to trade at $1320.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.39% to 1.2063, while EUR/GBP rose 0.24% to 0.8911.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 91.67.
