Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Travel & Leisure, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Moncler SpA (MI:MONC), which rose 5.19% or 1.60 points to trade at 32.40 at the close. Meanwhile, FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (MI:FBK) added 4.45% or 0.42 points to end at 9.80 and Banca Generali (MI:BGN) was up 4.32% or 0.75 points to 18.11 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Luxottica Group SpA (MI:LUX), which fell 1.28% or 0.72 points to trade at 55.62 at the close. Saipem SpA (MI:SPMI) declined 1.31% or 0.0610 points to end at 4.6090 and Pirelli & C SPA (MI:PIRC) was down 0.96% or 0.06 points to 6.38.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 268 to 95 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.74% or 0.47 to $63.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $72.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1233.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.23% to 1.1382, while EUR/GBP rose 0.11% to 0.8779.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.33.
