Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Travel & Leisure and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (MI:FCHA), which rose 4.08% or 0.578 points to trade at 14.728 at the close. Meanwhile, Banca Generali (MI:BGN) added 3.65% or 0.67 points to end at 19.01 and Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) was up 3.65% or 1.10 points to 31.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tenaris (MI:TENR), which fell 3.04% or 0.39 points to trade at 12.45 at the close. Saipem SpA (MI:SPMI) declined 3.02% or 0.1340 points to end at 4.3030 and ENI (MI:ENI) was down 2.20% or 0.34 points to 15.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 206 to 157 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 4.32% or 2.59 to $57.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 4.14% or 2.90 to hit $67.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1202.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.50% to 1.1275, while EUR/GBP fell 0.70% to 0.8669.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.06.
