Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Freni Brembo SpA (MI:BRBI), which rose 3.33% or 0.39 points to trade at 12.10 at the close. Meanwhile, FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (MI:FBK) added 3.26% or 0.29 points to end at 9.19 and Saipem SpA (MI:SPMI) was up 2.55% or 0.1000 points to 4.0200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Moncler SpA (MI:MONC), which fell 2.73% or 1.06 points to trade at 37.80 at the close. Prysmian (MI:PRY) declined 1.66% or 0.43 points to end at 25.40 and Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU) was down 0.80% or 0.18 points to 22.19.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 206 to 156 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.33% or 0.24 to $72.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.91% or 0.72 to hit $79.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1292.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1786, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.8773.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.46.
