Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 rose 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Tenaris SA (BIT:TENR), which rose 4.35% or 0.57 points to trade at 13.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Brunello Cucinelli (BIT:BCU) added 4.22% or 3.45 points to end at 85.25 and Iveco Group NV (BIT:IVG) was up 2.72% or 0.24 points to 9.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Prysmian SpA (BIT:PRY), which fell 2.16% or 1.42 points to trade at 64.46 at the close. FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT:FBK) declined 0.83% or 0.13 points to end at 14.98 and Italgas SpA (BIT:IG) was down 0.64% or 0.04 points to 5.41.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 275 to 225 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.44% or 1.01 to $71.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.46% or 1.07 to hit $74.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 21.90 to trade at $2,674.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.28.
