Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Travel & Leisure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 rose 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI), which rose 5.48% or 0.570 points to trade at 10.970 at the close. Meanwhile, Mediaset (MI:MS) added 2.40% or 0.074 points to end at 3.154 and Ferrari NV (MI:RACE) was up 1.98% or 2.00 points to 102.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were UniCredit SpA (MI:CRDI), which fell 1.68% or 0.2800 points to trade at 16.4300 at the close. Intesa Sanpaolo (MI:ISP) declined 0.89% or 0.026 points to end at 2.886 and UnipolSai Assicurazioni SpA (MI:US) was down 0.86% or 0.017 points to 1.956.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 241 to 117 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.48% or 0.570 to 10.970. Shares in Ferrari NV (MI:RACE) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.98% or 2.00 to 102.90.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.25% or 0.15 to hit $60.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 7.14 to trade at $1270.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.1655, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8782.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
