Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU), which rose 4.51% or 0.87 points to trade at 20.18 at the close. Meanwhile, FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (MI:FBK) added 2.30% or 0.16 points to end at 7.12 and Davide Campari Milano SpA (MI:CPRI) was up 2.25% or 0.14 points to 6.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were UniCredit SpA (MI:CRDI), which fell 1.68% or 0.2900 points to trade at 17.0000 at the close. Mediaset (MI:MS) declined 1.34% or 0.042 points to end at 3.104 and Terna (MI:TRN) was down 0.24% or 0.012 points to 4.900.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 216 to 116 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.09% or 0.04 to $46.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.74% or 0.38 to hit $51.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.49 to trade at $1315.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.39% to 1.1925, while EUR/GBP fell 0.52% to 0.9217.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 92.61.
