Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Travel & Leisure and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP), which rose 4.73% or 1.32 points to trade at 29.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Recordati (MI:RECI) added 1.51% or 0.55 points to end at 36.98 and Mediobanca (MI:MDBI) was up 1.50% or 0.125 points to 8.455 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saipem SpA (MI:SPMI), which fell 2.28% or 0.0740 points to trade at 3.1720 at the close. Tenaris (MI:TENR) declined 2.19% or 0.26 points to end at 11.60 and Mediaset (MI:MS) was down 2.17% or 0.068 points to 3.066.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 180 to 177 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.98% or 0.97 to $48.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.68% or 0.37 to hit $54.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.48 to trade at $1351.78 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.14% to 1.2039, while EUR/GBP fell 0.63% to 0.9119.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 91.27.
