Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Banco Bpm (MI:BAMI), which rose 3.76% or 0.114 points to trade at 3.148 at the close. Meanwhile, Davide Campari Milano SpA (MI:CPRI) added 2.23% or 0.14 points to end at 6.65 and Banca Generali (MI:BGN) was up 1.12% or 0.32 points to 28.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azimut Holding (MI:AZMT), which fell 1.38% or 0.24 points to trade at 17.15 at the close. Telecom Italia (MI:TLIT) declined 1.10% or 0.0085 points to end at 0.7625 and Italgas SpA (MI:IG) was down 1.05% or 0.050 points to 4.726.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 191 to 173 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Davide Campari Milano SpA (MI:CPRI) rose to all time highs; up 2.23% or 0.14 to 6.65.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.84% or 0.43 to $51.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.07% or 0.61 to hit $57.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.47 to trade at $1306.07 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.11% to 1.1809, while EUR/GBP fell 0.11% to 0.8888.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.99.
