Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU), which rose 3.18% or 0.70 points to trade at 22.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Prysmian (MI:PRY) added 3.01% or 0.83 points to end at 28.43 and Salvatore Ferragamo (MI:SFER) was up 2.20% or 0.46 points to 21.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leonardo SpA (MI:LDOF), which fell 3.51% or 0.370 points to trade at 10.160 at the close. Banco Bpm (MI:BAMI) declined 2.86% or 0.078 points to end at 2.652 and Bper Banca SpA (MI:EMII) was down 2.72% or 0.116 points to 4.146.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 248 to 112 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.31% or 0.17 to $55.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.58% or 0.36 to hit $61.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.38 to trade at $1280.08 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.1772, while EUR/GBP fell 0.35% to 0.8921.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
