Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 5.18% to hit a new 5-year low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL), which rose 2.04% or 580 points to trade at 29080 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TASE:LUMI) added 1.05% or 19 points to end at 1820 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was down 0.05% or 1 points to 1921 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 51.04% or 5670 points to trade at 5440 at the close. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) declined 22.10% or 4640 points to end at 16360 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) was down 14.42% or 433 points to 2570.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 396 to 17 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) fell to all time lows; losing 22.10% or 4640 to 16360. Shares in Shufersal (TASE:SAE) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.05% or 1 to 1921. Shares in Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) fell to 52-week lows; down 14.42% or 433 to 2570.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 5.18% or 1.71 to $31.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 7.21% or 2.58 to hit $33.21 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 3.18% or 52.20 to trade at $1590.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 2.30% to 3.6442, while EUR/ILS rose 1.40% to 4.0697.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.97% at 97.430.
