Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 4.33% to hit a new 5-year low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 11.84% or 728 points to trade at 6878 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 5.57% or 38 points to end at 720 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 1.18% or 62 points to 5337 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which fell 37.06% or 5960 points to trade at 10120 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 22.40% or 452 points to end at 1566 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) was down 14.29% or 12.5 points to 75.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 364 to 35 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 8.03% or 2.58 to $29.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 11.37% or 3.85 to hit $30.00 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.88% or 28.45 to trade at $1488.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 3.16% to 3.7801, while EUR/ILS rose 3.63% to 4.2160.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 98.220.
