Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 3.52% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 0.68% or 110.00 points to trade at 15,980.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) fell 1.42% or 2,390.00 points to end at 166,000.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 1.71% or 59.00 points to 3,386.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 12.39% or 664.00 points to trade at 4,695.00 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 8.86% or 85.40 points to end at 879.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was down 6.05% or 2,600.00 points to 40,400.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 449 to 36 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) fell to 3-years lows; falling 12.39% or 664.00 to 4,695.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.86% or 1.04 to $120.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.93% or 1.14 to hit $121.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.21% or 22.40 to trade at $1,875.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.01% to 3.39, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 3.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 103.08.
