Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 2.23%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 1.94% or 9.60 points to trade at 504.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 0.54% or 140.00 points to end at 25,880.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was up 0.16% or 30.00 points to 19,020.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which fell 9.02% or 6,600.00 points to trade at 66,600.00 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 7.33% or 389.00 points to end at 4,916.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 5.78% or 61.00 points to 995.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 397 to 105 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) fell to 3-years lows; down 7.33% or 389.00 to 4,916.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.69% or 0.76 to $109.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.17% or 0.19 to hit $110.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 16.70 to trade at $1,864.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.53% to 3.35, while EUR/ILS rose 0.97% to 3.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 101.73.
