Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 2.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 0.93% or 240 points to trade at 26000 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) added 0.09% or 10 points to end at 10720 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 0.05% or 10 points to 19590 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 6.59% or 461 points to trade at 6539 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 6.40% or 780 points to end at 11400 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 4.74% or 133 points to 2672.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 302 to 102 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.61% or 0.34 to $55.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.07% or 1.28 to hit $60.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 19.25 to trade at $1476.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.19% to 3.4854, while EUR/ILS rose 0.66% to 3.9036.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 97.285.
