Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.93%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 7.16% or 5,330.00 points to trade at 79,720.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 0.62% or 100.00 points to end at 16,270.00 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 0.98% or 230.00 points to 23,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 6.20% or 325.00 points to trade at 4,915.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 5.77% or 87.00 points to end at 1,422.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 5.05% or 54.00 points to 1,016.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 333 to 148 and 44 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.20% or 2.42 to $107.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.66% or 1.87 to hit $110.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 4.85 to trade at $1,812.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.07% to 3.49, while EUR/ILS rose 1.41% to 3.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 104.52.
