Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.88%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 1.49% or 34 points to trade at 2309 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 1.16% or 54 points to end at 4701 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 0.84% or 100 points to 11970 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 7.32% or 780 points to trade at 9870 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp) declined 6.13% or 2.3 points to end at 35.2 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was down 5.71% or 1090 points to 18000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 330 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 8.74% or 3.46 to $36.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 7.91% or 3.30 to hit $38.43 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.09% or 18.75 to trade at $1739.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.76% to 3.4611, while EUR/ILS rose 0.33% to 3.9192.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 96.573.
