Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.63%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 1.60% or 1,170.00 points to trade at 74,470.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 0.97% or 53.00 points to end at 5,510.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 0.91% or 14.00 points to 1,550.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 10.48% or 8,710.00 points to trade at 74,390.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 3.80% or 77.00 points to end at 1,947.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 3.00% or 50.00 points to 1,616.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 378 to 100 and 59 ended unchanged.
Shares in Energix (TASE:ENRG) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.91% or 14.00 to 1,550.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.72% or 0.57 to $79.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.53% or 0.44 to hit $83.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 18.45 to trade at $2,376.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.70% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS rose 0.58% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.37.
