Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Communication, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.61%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 2.95% or 105 points to trade at 3662 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 1.91% or 1620 points to end at 86620 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 1.64% or 2850 points to 176150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 7.37% or 140 points to trade at 1760 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 5.19% or 1270 points to end at 23190 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was down 4.98% or 1080 points to 20590.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 298 to 124 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.40% or 0.21 to $52.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $55.02 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 8.40 to trade at $1849.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.03% to 3.2797, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 3.9809.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 90.535.
