Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.56% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 3.78% or 530 points to trade at 14560 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 0.20% or 5 points to end at 2553 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to 21880 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 5.68% or 69 points to trade at 1146 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) declined 4.99% or 333 points to end at 6345 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was down 4.81% or 1400 points to 27720.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 393 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $64.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $68.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 2.20 to trade at $1835.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.87% to 3.2873, while EUR/ILS rose 1.15% to 3.9983.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 90.078.
