Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 0.10% or 7 points to trade at 6950 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TA:SAE) unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to end at 2340 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was down 0.48% or 0.2 points to 41.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 5.25% or 79 points to trade at 1426 at the close. Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) declined 3.19% or 1070 points to end at 32440 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 3.14% or 1700 points to 52500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 365 to 39 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; losing 5.25% or 79 to 1426. Shares in Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) fell to 5-year lows; losing 0.48% or 0.2 to 41.1.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.38 to $63.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.90% or 0.61 to hit $67.01 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 6.20 to trade at $1330.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.74% to 3.4842, while EUR/ILS rose 0.56% to 4.3015.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 89.72.
