Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.48%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 1.12% or 530 points to trade at 47750 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 0.86% or 110 points to end at 12900 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 0.03% or 1 points to 3849 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 5.83% or 1510 points to trade at 24370 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 3.43% or 4450 points to end at 125200 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 2.87% or 39 points to 1319.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 443 to 60 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 13.04% or 10.22 to $68.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $71.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1788.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.03% to 3.1921, while EUR/ILS rose 2.05% to 3.6131.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 96.078.
