Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.47%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 6.96% or 2,210.00 points to trade at 33,950.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 3.49% or 920.00 points to end at 27,270.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.86% or 23.00 points to 1,262.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 6.39% or 202.00 points to trade at 2,960.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 6.29% or 9,490.00 points to end at 141,500.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 4.43% or 338.00 points to 7,294.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 374 to 114 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.96% or 2,210.00 to 33,950.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.54% or 1.39 to $88.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.09% or 1.05 to hit $95.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.14% or 18.85 to trade at $1,631.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.86% to 3.58, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 3.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.44% at 112.82.
