Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.45%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL), which rose 1.89% or 790 points to trade at 42500 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 1.31% or 260 points to end at 20120 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 0.20% or 130 points to 64800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 4.80% or 300 points to trade at 5950 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 4.30% or 760 points to end at 16900 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 4.04% or 39 points to 918.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 308 to 95 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.84% or 0.47 to $56.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.44% or 0.29 to hit $66.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1285.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.45% to 3.6230, while EUR/ILS fell 0.26% to 4.0670.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 97.338.
