Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.21%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 1.44% or 250 points to trade at 17670 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 0.77% or 21 points to end at 2762 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 0.24% or 10 points to 4160 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 4.48% or 1060 points to trade at 22600 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 3.47% or 1290 points to end at 35880 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 3.39% or 143 points to 4070.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 300 to 124 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.99% or 1.77 to $61.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.51% or 1.56 to hit $63.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.84% or 32.75 to trade at $1810.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.16% to 3.2643, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 3.9652.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 90.110.
