Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 1.85% or 50.00 points to trade at 2,750.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 1.84% or 64.00 points to end at 3,550.00 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 1.45% or 990.00 points to 69,310.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 5.40% or 9,610.00 points to trade at 168,390.00 at the close. Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) declined 5.08% or 2,300.00 points to end at 43,000.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 4.99% or 181.00 points to 3,445.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 338 to 138 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.63% or 0.77 to $121.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.49% or 0.61 to hit $122.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 6.40 to trade at $1,850.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.77% to 3.36, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 3.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 103.04.
