Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 1.16% or 109 points to trade at 9526 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 1.10% or 250 points to end at 22950 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was up 0.58% or 90 points to 15630 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which fell 4.24% or 1020 points to trade at 23040 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 3.24% or 186 points to end at 5555 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 2.62% or 34 points to 1265.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 362 to 118 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.87% or 0.62 to $70.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.56% or 0.41 to hit $72.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 8.75 to trade at $1813.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.34% to 3.2119, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.8112.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 92.067.
