Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which rose 2.32% or 42 points to trade at 1855 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.19% or 31 points to end at 1448 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 1.89% or 47 points to 2535 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.98% or 95 points to trade at 3090 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 2.91% or 196 points to end at 6550 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 2.90% or 1160 points to 38840.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 274 to 100 and 39 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.16% or 1.26 to $38.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.97% or 1.25 to hit $40.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.75 to trade at $1906.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.52% to 3.3909, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 4.0076.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 93.028.
