Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 1.90% or 310 points to trade at 16640 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 1.22% or 32 points to end at 2649 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was up 0.89% or 110 points to 12460 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 4.79% or 990 points to trade at 19680 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 4.19% or 103 points to end at 2354 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was down 3.41% or 62 points to 1757.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 265 to 125 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.39% or 0.16 to $40.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.42% or 0.18 to hit $43.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.15 to trade at $1908.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.48% to 3.3920, while EUR/ILS rose 0.13% to 3.9705.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 93.778.
