Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 3.66% or 44 points to trade at 1245 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 1.44% or 38 points to end at 2685 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 1.44% or 2570 points to 180520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 4.45% or 3240 points to trade at 69520 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 3.31% or 78 points to end at 2276 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 2.50% or 1090 points to 42540.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 299 to 159 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.09% or 2.23 to $69.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.05% or 2.27 to hit $72.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 4.81% or 89.60 to trade at $1771.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.2684, while EUR/ILS fell 0.48% to 3.8859.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.84% at 91.977.
