Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.83% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 1.64% or 68 points to trade at 4213 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TA:STRS) added 1.27% or 91 points to end at 7270 and Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) was up 1.14% or 260.0 points to 23050.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.52% or 76 points to trade at 1604 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 4.45% or 2500 points to end at 53700 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 3.18% or 31 points to 955.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 232 to 155 and 25 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.47% or 0.26 to $55.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.50% or 0.31 to hit $61.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.76 to trade at $1279.14 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.5374, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 4.1747.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 93.73.
