Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 2.30% or 630 points to trade at 28010 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 2.14% or 11.0 points to end at 525.0 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) was up 1.40% or 360 points to 26110 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 4.34% or 2810 points to trade at 61900 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 4.15% or 2810 points to end at 64910 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 3.64% or 37 points to 979.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 304 to 100 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.34% or 2810 to 61900. Shares in Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.64% or 37 to 979.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.94% or 0.49 to $51.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.27% or 0.74 to hit $57.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 7.12 to trade at $1290.12 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.17% to 3.4866, while EUR/ILS rose 0.00% to 4.1315.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.96.
