Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 0.93% or 380 points to trade at 41100 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TA:LUMI) added 0.50% or 12 points to end at 2396 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was up 0.33% or 31 points to 9330 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 6.03% or 91 points to trade at 1419 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 3.02% or 260 points to end at 8340 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was down 2.06% or 166 points to 7885.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 205 to 168 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.47% or 0.34 to $71.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.25% or 0.20 to hit $81.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 6.60 to trade at $1198.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.5882, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 4.2154.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.85.
