Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which rose 0.50% or 100 points to trade at 20110 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TA:LUMI) added 0.49% or 9 points to end at 1836 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 0.41% or 9 points to 2217 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 3.69% or 20.1 points to trade at 524.0 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 2.37% or 510.0 points to end at 21050.0 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was down 2.06% or 37 points to 1760.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 301 to 99 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.27% or 0.59 to $45.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.35% or 0.18 to hit $51.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 7.41 to trade at $1322.71 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.19% to 3.5723, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 4.2950.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 91.88.
