Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 3.95% or 3,700.00 points to trade at 97,380.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 2.67% or 51.00 points to end at 1,963.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.20% or 1,430.00 points to 66,430.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which fell 3.17% or 185.00 points to trade at 5,650.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.53% or 4,000.00 points to end at 154,000.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 2.18% or 39.00 points to 1,746.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 288 to 154 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.82% or 0.65 to $78.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.46% or 0.38 to hit $82.58 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 3.15 to trade at $2,161.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.09% to 3.58, while EUR/ILS rose 0.36% to 3.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 102.96.
