Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 3.01% or 275.00 points to trade at 9,398.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 1.31% or 60.00 points to end at 4,636.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 0.90% or 69.00 points to 7,729.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 4.42% or 1,690.00 points to trade at 36,520.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.53% or 1,480.00 points to end at 56,970.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was down 2.52% or 2,340.00 points to 90,600.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 281 to 165 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.53% or 1,480.00 to 56,970.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.30% or 0.23 to $75.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $79.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 18.59 to trade at $2,752.31 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.22% to 3.58, while EUR/ILS rose 1.08% to 3.72.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 108.17.
