Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Communication, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 2.31% or 43.00 points to trade at 1,906.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 2.22% or 24.00 points to end at 1,104.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was up 1.20% or 11.00 points to 921.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 10.33% or 1,140.00 points to trade at 9,900.00 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) declined 3.50% or 126.00 points to end at 3,471.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was down 2.95% or 228.00 points to 7,506.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 201 and 83 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.98% or 1.53 to $75.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.72% or 1.40 to hit $80.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 11.75 to trade at $1,961.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.74% to 3.84, while EUR/ILS fell 0.69% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 105.38.
