Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 3.43% or 2320 points to trade at 69940 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 2.98% or 47 points to end at 1623 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) was up 1.33% or 2.3 points to 175.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 6.21% or 3080 points to trade at 46510 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 5.30% or 11.4 points to end at 203.6 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 2.96% or 74 points to 2429.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 225 to 135 and 47 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.30% or 11.4 to 203.6.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.87% or 1.58 to $53.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.41% or 0.83 to hit $57.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.66% or 25.40 to trade at $1554.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.01% to 3.5392, while EUR/ILS rose 0.03% to 3.8819.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.928.
