Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 1.89% or 270.00 points to trade at 14,570.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 1.36% or 200.00 points to end at 14,860.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.15% or 990.00 points to 87,190.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 3.26% or 165.00 points to trade at 4,904.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 3.25% or 900.00 points to end at 26,760.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 2.35% or 122.00 points to 5,077.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 312 to 119 and 108 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.89% or 270.00 to 14,570.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.32% or 2.70 to $78.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.97% or 2.53 to hit $82.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.18% or 53.60 to trade at $2,402.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.07% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 104.07.
