Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 3.37% or 1060 points to trade at 32490 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 2.52% or 60 points to end at 2443 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 2.46% or 191 points to 7940 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp), which fell 11.44% or 50 points to trade at 387 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 9.67% or 833 points to end at 7777 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp) was down 4.71% or 3.3 points to 66.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 162 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.69% or 0.29 to $41.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.93% or 0.41 to hit $43.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.31% or 24.45 to trade at $1889.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.22% to 3.4141, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 3.9672.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 94.593.
