Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 6.12% or 2,700.00 points to trade at 46,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 1.04% or 130.00 points to end at 12,580.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 0.28% or 40.00 points to 14,520.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:HARL), which fell 4.37% or 138.00 points to trade at 3,023.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 3.39% or 24.60 points to end at 700.40 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) was down 3.15% or 112.00 points to 3,440.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 280 to 153 and 106 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) rose to all time highs; up 6.12% or 2,700.00 to 46,800.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.95% or 0.77 to $81.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.79% or 0.67 to hit $85.14 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 26.95 to trade at $2,340.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS rose 0.50% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 105.49.
