Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 2.33% or 156 points to trade at 6850 at the close. Meanwhile, Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 2.14% or 690.0 points to end at 32990.0 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 1.74% or 149 points to 8720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which fell 6.01% or 1290 points to trade at 20170 at the close. Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) declined 3.66% or 1300 points to end at 34200 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) was down 3.22% or 83 points to 2495.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 137 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.50% or 1.06 to $69.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.19% or 0.91 to hit $75.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.20 to trade at $1308.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.02% to 3.6075, while EUR/ILS fell 0.51% to 4.2782.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 92.99.
