Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 7.76% or 54.60 points to trade at 757.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.60% or 120.00 points to end at 4,731.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.08% or 8.80 points to 432.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which fell 6.52% or 390.00 points to trade at 5,595.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 4.98% or 131.00 points to end at 2,502.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 3.73% or 52.00 points to 1,343.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 194 and 96 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.91% or 0.74 to $82.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.85% or 0.72 to hit $85.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 7.15 to trade at $2,332.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.12% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 105.58.
