Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 2.29% or 32 points to trade at 1431 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 1.56% or 35 points to end at 2284 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.42% or 16 points to 1142 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 4.44% or 265 points to trade at 5700 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 3.73% or 157 points to end at 4048 and Matrix (TASE:MTRX) was down 3.09% or 236 points to 7400.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 334 to 109 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.62% or 1.07 to $65.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.69% or 1.17 to hit $68.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.12% or 19.05 to trade at $1679.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.3391, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 3.9588.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 92.338.
