Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 1.97% or 62 points to trade at 3212 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 1.53% or 2150 points to end at 143130 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 1.13% or 24 points to 2147 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.78% or 85 points to trade at 1386 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 5.46% or 2430 points to end at 42050 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 3.45% or 46 points to 1288.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 390 to 124 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.41% or 1.88 to $79.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.88% or 1.52 to hit $82.32 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.84% or 33.65 to trade at $1791.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.1133, while EUR/ILS rose 0.28% to 3.5196.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.185.
