Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Communication and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT), which rose 3.15% or 77 points to trade at 2519 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 2.15% or 450 points to end at 21360 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) was up 2.01% or 1030 points to 52370 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 6.13% or 169 points to trade at 2587 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 3.45% or 248 points to end at 6932 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 1.61% or 12 points to 714.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 205 to 168 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.38% or 0.22 to $58.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.36% or 0.23 to hit $64.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 17.85 to trade at $1524.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.5213, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 3.8795.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 98.085.
