Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 7.20% or 2,790.00 points to trade at 41,520.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 5.52% or 1,200.00 points to end at 22,930.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 2.03% or 188.00 points to 9,452.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG), which fell 3.88% or 1,220.00 points to trade at 30,200.00 at the close. Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) declined 3.86% or 382.00 points to end at 9,518.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 3.45% or 83.00 points to 2,322.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 247 to 213 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.89% or 1.42 to $76.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.97% or 1.57 to hit $81.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 9.75 to trade at $1,967.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.84, while EUR/ILS rose 0.52% to 4.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 105.31.
