Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 1.01% or 5.30 points to trade at 529.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 1.00% or 23.00 points to end at 2,325.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was up 0.93% or 84.00 points to 9,150.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:HARL), which fell 2.57% or 74.00 points to trade at 2,801.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 2.45% or 44.00 points to end at 1,755.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 2.10% or 270.00 points to 12,580.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 331 to 139 and 73 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.45% or 44.00 to 1,755.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.40% or 0.32 to $80.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.32% or 0.27 to hit $84.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 16.15 to trade at $1,962.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.01% to 3.80, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 4.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 103.65.
