Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 5.02% or 64 points to trade at 1339 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.50% or 207 points to end at 8498 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 2.37% or 74 points to 3200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 3.82% or 56 points to trade at 1411 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) declined 3.36% or 28 points to end at 796 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 2.94% or 5210 points to 171910.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 217 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.23% or 1.08 to $47.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.76% or 0.91 to hit $50.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 2.67% or 50.65 to trade at $1945.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.20% to 3.2076, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 3.9346.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 89.755.
